Chemical import process

1 Preparation stage:

Documents: trade contracts, invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, etc.

Others: Chinese MSDS, Chinese and foreign labels, business license, import and export rights, classification appraisal report

 

2 Confirm product information:

 

Confirm the product customs code;

Product attributes (such as whether it is dangerous goods, etc.)

Understand the relevant laws and regulations of the destination port

 

3  International transportation:


Arrange international transportation (such as sea transportation or air transportation) based on cargo volume information and packaging size, and send the goods to domestic ports or airports

 

4 Process after the goods arrive at the port:

 

Change the order---customs declaration and inspection--for dangerous goods, check whether the label and packaging comply with the regulations--pay taxes (calculate the duties, value-added tax and other taxes payable based on the type, quantity and value of the chemical, and Complete payment)

 

5 Customs square and delivery

 

After completing all steps, the customs will release the chemicals. The goods can officially enter the Chinese market and arrange delivery to the designated location.

 


For hazardous chemicals, you also need to pay attention to:

1 Check the import qualifications of specific terminals and ports, and consult the relevant terminals in advance.
2 Dangerous goods also require a dangerous goods classification appraisal report and dangerous label filing
